- Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous
Al Capone, the most notorious gangster of the Roaring Twenties, chose to build his hideaway castle next to a bubbling mineral spring with palm trees in the California desert. Legend has it, Capone built an opulent fortress complete with a sentry turret atop the main residence. Capone and his colorful friends: mob bosses from Chicago, movie moguls and screen stars - gambled big time at the ornate casino, and made merry in the hot spring.
Over the years, the acclaimed natural artesian mineral waters, healthy climate, absolute privacy, spa facilities and distinctive eclectic decor has attracted celebrities from all walks of life. Still extremely popular with producers, directors, agents, screenwriters and actors: Mel Gibson, Robin Williams, Goldie Hawn, Shep Gordon, and Meryl Streep to name a few. Movie hit, The Player, was filmed here.

Adults only.
